Challenge and Motivation

• Currently no widespread use of AI in industry: 
• Lack of standardization in development, deployment and operation of AI in production environments
• AI is mostly used in pilots or for proof of concept 

Objective

• Build organizational process framework and technical reference architecture for industrialization of AI

Procedure

• Definition of characteristics and requirements for widespread use of AI based on current state assessment of use of AI in industry
• Development of organizational process framework including in-depth analysis of steps and best practices
• Derivation of technical reference architecture for realization of industrialized AI
• Application of developed concepts to real scenarios of industry partners
